Pocket PC 2003 the same as Windows Mobile 2003?
Is the Pocket PC 2003 operating system the same as WM 2003 (Windows Mobile 2003)?
GRMPARKS
Yes. Prior to the release of Windows Mobile 2003, the OS was referred to using the name "Pocket PC" (e.g., Pocket PC 2000 and Pocket PC 2002). With the introduction of the non-touch screen Smartphone, Microsoft changed the name to "Windows Mobile" to cover both touch screen and non-touch screen devices. (e.g., Windows Mobile 2003 for Pocket PC and Windows Mobile 2003 for Smartphone).

Google works on Gmail IMAP fix 0
Why is it that when I download messages in Outlook Mobile (on WM 6) from my Gmail account, some messages are blank after the entire message is downloaded and some aren’t? Also, why do some e-mails get downloaded with symbols in place of letters? It’s very annoying. Can anyone please tell me how to fix either of these issues?
brcools
If you are using Gmail IMAP, this is a known issue. Google is working on a fix. I suggest you use POP3 until a fix is made available.

Upgrading to WM 6
I have Windows Mobile 5 and I want to upgrade to WM 6.
marsomer
If an upgrade is available for your device, it will come from the device manufacturer, not Microsoft. Note that not that many WM5 devices had upgrades available. Check out the device manufacturer’s Web site. If you purchased a Windows Mobile phone-enabled device from a wireless carrier, check out the carrier’s Web site.

Deleting icons
I have duplicate icons for Internet Explorer, Office Mobile, and Contacts and want to delete them.
distinctive
If you want to delete the duplicate icons, go to File Explorer and then select My Device; from there, tap on Windows and then scroll down and select Start Menu. In the Start Menu, there will be a folder called Programs which you can open and see all the items in your programs menu. Simply tap and hold on the duplicate and select Delete.
