Can't delete built-in applications; saving documents to storage cards

How do I get Solitaire and Jawbreaker games off my Dell Axim Pocket PC? Also, how do I save my Notes, Word, and Excel documents to my SD card?

Diane Hamm

Solitaire and Jawbreaker are part of the application set that comes with Windows Mobile devices. They cannot be removed.
Here's how you save Word documents to an SD card (the procedure for Notes and Excel is similar):
  1. Create a folder on your SD Card named "My Documents." You will save Notes, Word, and Excel documents in this folder.
  2. Make sure the card in the slot on your Axim.
  3. Open the Word document.
  4. With the document open, tap on "Menu" in the lower right corner of the screen. This will cause a menu to pop up.
  5. Tap on "File" (the bottom item in the menu). This will cause another menu to pop up.
  6. Tap on "Save As..." This will cause a screen to pop up that will allow you to change the name of the document and specify where you save it.
  7. Tap on "Location," the bottom item on the page. This will cause a two or three-item list to pop up
  8. Select "SD Card" from the list and then tap on the "Save" button.
