Trouble going online: receiving "address not valid" message

I just got a new HP iPAQ h1950 Pocket PC, and I'm learning how to use it without too many hassles. The first time I went on the Internet it went smoothly, but the second time I kept getting a dialog box telling me "The address is not valid. Check the address and try again." Could I be missing something in my program files or is it to do with my connection? I'm pretty new to this stuff and imagine that it is something fairly simple that I am missing.

I received an h1950 for Christmas and ran into the exact same problem. I hooked up to my wireless network when I was setting up the iPAQ for the first time, but could not after that. I spent an entire afternoon with HP's instant support, but I got the problem solved. What finally got me to connect to the wireless system was changing the router's channel. I was using channel 11 and HP had me change to channel 6. I have a D-Link 11b router. They also had me delete the older version of ActiveSync on my HP desktop PC and replace it with ActiveSync 4.1, which you can download for free from Microsoft (http://www.microsoft.com/windowsmobile/addons/default.mspx). One or both of those things fixed the problem. HP tech support was very helpful and friendly

Networking with Bluetooth

I just installed a USB Bluetooth dongle, connected it to my PC, and installed the Bluetooth manager software that came with it. I can send files from my PC to my Pocket PC via Bluetooth, but can't do anything else. How can I get network access? Every time I try, it says that the PC is "not discoverable."
