LG Electronics working on Pocket PC with integrated phone

According to Cellular News, LG Electronics (LGE) is working on a Pocket PC device with an integrated phone and a 1.1 megapixel still image/video digital camera. The device is based on an Intel 400 MHz processor and includes 64 MB of RAM, which is augmented by an additional 128 MB of storage memory (presumably flash ROM) which can store up to an hour of video or a combination of video, digital photos, and other files. It also includes a keypad that slides out of the bottom of the device. T-Mobile to offer free Pocket PC 2003 upgrade

T-Mobile will be offering existing users of the T-Mobile Pocket PC Phone Edition device a free upgrade to the newer Windows Mobile 2003 for Pocket PC software. The newer version of the software enables “always on” over-the-air access to new e-mail and to Calendar, Appointments, or Contacts from MS Exchange 2003 Server. It also includes improved text messaging capabilities, quicker contact searching, a call muting feature, Ring Tone support for WAV and MIDI files, and Windows Media Player 9, which supports video, WMA, MP3, and WAV files.
