Applications for square-screen Pocket PCs

I was just wondering if there is a utility available that will resize a third-party application's screen so that it displays properly on the 240 x 240 pixel screen of an HP iPAQ hw6515 Mobile Messenger?

I'm not sure that a resizing program exists. However, some programs will work natively on square-screen devices. Some programs will adapt to the 240 x 240 screen, and some vendors have written special versions of their programs for the square screen. A pretty good list of software optimized for the square screens is available in this forum post (http://pocketpcmag.com/forum/topic.asp?TOPIC_ID=21223).

Not all Windows Mobile software displays properly on the square-screen iPAQ hw6500.

Enable simultaneous use of Wi-Fi and cell phone; other Registry edits for the Verizon XV6700

In a recent CNet review of the Verizon UTStarcom XV6700 Pocket PC Phone Edition device, the following was published:

"Feature wise, the UTStarcom XV6700 looks great on paper, but it's tripped up by some wireless limitations set forth by Verizon. (For example,) you can't have Wi-Fi and the cell phone on at the same time. But don't despair; you can work around this by downloading a registry editor and making tweaks to the wireless manager. It's an annoying extra step, but at least you have that option. The good news is that we were able to hop on to our test access point with ease and were surfing the Web within a couple of minutes. Also, you can use Bluetooth for file transfers and synchronization with compatible PCs, not just for headsets and accessories."

Does anyone have any further detail on the specific edits necessary to accomplish these changes (enabling simultaneous access to Wi-Fi and cellular capabilities and enabling Bluetooth for file transfers and synchronization)?

The Registry edit that lets you use Wi-Fi and cellular capabilities, and other hacks, are described in this online post (http://www.cmz727.com/alan/6700/6700.htm).
