Teksoft releases "BlueAudio"!

"Since the last release of BlueMusic, back in February 2007, our developers worked hard on an update. It took a lot of time and creativity, but we have it ready, and you can download your copy right now!...We've pushed the development even further and now a new improved version is available: BlueMusic 3 codename "BlueAudio".

Verizon Offering Touch Pro, Samsung Omnia, Samsung Saga

The big news last week was Verizon’s release of the Samsung Omnia and the HTC Touch Pro. The Samsung Saga, announced in mid-November, should also now be available in stores. It’s great to see that the hottest new phones are now generally available in the U.S. This week in addition to noting Verizon’s release, I’ll point you to some reviews of these and other new devices.

Continuing the coverage of my "lost article" from the last issue of Smartphone & PocketPC magazine we have my top pick for the category of "Classic Arcade" from the 2008 awards. In this case I picked Earth Day, which was actually the first eSoft Interactive game I ever reviewed, even though I had been a fan of theirs for quite some time. For the simple premise behind Earth Day, it was quite an addictive thrill ride. Here's what I thought of it...

www.zielok.com recently released a new freeware game called FruitsDay. If you haven't been to the site before, basically there are several PocketPC and Windows games available for free, and for a donation you can get the game Next Element Deluxe. I recommend checking it out if you get the chance.

My T-Mobile G1 that runs Android arrived at my house several weeks ago, missing something that has shipped with every single Windows Mobile device I have ever owned, a CDROM. The missing CD may not seem significant in this day of the Internet where you can easily download and install ActiveSync from a web site than use a CD, but the significance of its exclusion to me is for what it represents.

Such is the case with Zuma from Astraware, a mobile version of the popular action / puzzle game from Popcap Games. Addictive game play, intense challenge and a cool atmosphere make this an oldie but goodie that should be in your collection if it’s not already there.

Use Teksoft's USBInput with your mouse and keyboard

This is an abbreviated written review of the product, as I plan on posting a video review to accompany it. Teksoftco.com already has some well-done product videos embedded on their site, so go take a look. USBInput is a small utility that will enable the Mini-USB port on your Windows Mobile device to take input from a mouse or keyboard. The software has so far not worked with my i-mate 8150 (which has a Mini-USB port), but worked quite well with my trusty iPAQ 2495.
