Use Teksoft's USBInput with your mouse and keyboard

This is an abbreviated written review of the product, as I plan on posting a video review to accompany it. Teksoftco.com already has some well-done product videos embedded on their site, so go take a look. USBInput is a small utility that will enable the Mini-USB port on your Windows Mobile device to take input from a mouse or keyboard. The software has so far not worked with my i-mate 8150 (which has a Mini-USB port), but worked quite well with my trusty iPAQ 2495.

New Devices from AT&T, HP, and Sprint; Free Mac Syncing Software

Wow, a lot of news recently regarding your choices for new devices. AT&T has released the Samsung Epix, HP has come out with the iPAQ Voice Messenger and the iPAQ Data Traveller, and Sprint has released the HTC Touch Pro.

AT&T Epix

AT&T’s new Samsung Epix has a Treo-like form factor with a front-facing QWERTY keyboard. It’s sometimes called the BlackJack III, but unlike that device it has a touch screen.

I recently received an announcement from Eltima Software regarding a new product of theirs called SyncMate. Unfortunately I don't have a Mac so I can't relate any first hand experience with this software (yet), but it sounds pretty nifty, so I thought I'd let all of you know about it in case you happened to own a Mac and a Windows Mobile device. The Spb folks have just released their online portal, Spb Online. Three other reviews have already been published (some hours ago) on it. Therefore, I've paid special attention to elaborating on issues not discussed in the other reviews, particularly when it comes to comparing Spb Online to the competing alternatives – after all, I've published several articles on several areas Spb Online implemented: radio and TV streaming, podcasting and multiplayer games.

Listening to or watching podcasts is great fun. If you think they are boring, meaningless or can’t entertain you during, say, a long fight, you’re wrong. For example, watching all the clips of X-Play, played back on my VGA HP iPAQ 214 (thanks to Smartphone & PPCMag / iPhone Life’s Hal Goldstein for the gift!) could entertain me for long-long hours.
