Innopocket Case for iPAQ hw6900

Innopocket Case

Pocket PCs are not cheap - so protecting your investment is vital. When your Pocket PC has built-in GPS and you enjoy hiking or geocaching, the chances of exposing your device to mother nature and other hazards greatly increases. That's where cases from Innopocket come in handy.

The default case included with the 6900 is fine most of the time, but when you are crawling through bushes trying to find that elusive cache it's easy to hook it on a branch or fence and rip it to the ground. Luckily the 6900 is tough - I've had it take several 3-4 foot drops as it was knocked out of the holder. While it has survived so far, I don't want to continue to tempt fate. The Metal Deluxe Case for the iPAQ hw6500/6900 provides great protection from fools like me who think it's fun crawling in the mud getting poked by bushes.

Innopocket Case

The case has a unique and very functional design. One feature I like is rather than expose the power button Innopocket includes a large button integrated into the case. The phone buttons are exposed so you can still make calls and get access to the WM5 softkey buttons. There is also an opening in the back so you can snap pictures of the rattlesnakes hiding out at the cache sites. The screen is completely protected with a plastic panel which gives you a view of the screen w/o having to worry about dirt and sweat when making those "lifeline" phone calls when you can't locate the cache. ;)

Case Opened

The case flips completely open for those times when you need to use your stylus. The case uses a 360-degree belt clip and can quickly be snapped into place when you finally find the cache, or need to explain what you are doing to the local authorities. :D

With the Innopocket case I no longer worry about damaging my iPAQ while out searching for that next hidden treasure.
