Do you use Pocket Word? Then, NEVER enter the - character, followed by a >!

I've reported this bug some half a year ago on various PPC forums (and, later, the Windows Mobile Developer Team has also confirmed this to be a bug & filed it to the Bug Database). Because the importance of this bug and the problems it may cause, I think it's worth repeating it here:
If you enter text in Pocket Word, never try to enter the character sequence -> because, then, Pocket Word may crash at once, killing your current, unsaved work! If you need to write ->'s (for example, to enter arrows), use for example => instead.
You may also want to read this PPCT thread (alternatives: iPAQ HQ, AximSite, PPC Magazine, FirstLoox, BrightHand) for further discussion of this problem.

Dear Werner,
I've checked the problem in question in PocketWord on my hx4700. Brave try, huh ;-)
The result was ok: no crashing, freezing, etc.
Maybe my hx4700 has a newer version of PW??
However, thanks for notifying us on thi isue again.
Regards,
kattamaki
I don't think so - ROM 1.10 was released before I notified the bug. However, the bug isn't guaranteed to activate every time you enter -> - also see the forum comments/posts in the linked threads.
Dear Werner,
Entered approx. 180-190 line to a new .pwi, copied-pasted numerous times, hit -> but nothing happened. -thank God-
But surely I will avoid using -> for the future.
thanks and cheers
