I run a simple WEP level of security at home, it's all we need. However, my HTC TyTn II PDA phone (WM6) never seems to permanently remember the security key.
I run WPA security at the office and no problems there. I have a DLink wireless router N router at the office and a B/G Microsoft wireless router at home.
And is there a way of permanently making the system aware that I'm not interested in the neighbours' access points as I'm repeatedly being offered connections.
Thanks in advance!

yea, there is a way. I have a wireless Windows box at home and it was always dumping and deciding that it need to run the show on my wireless ..
In WINDOWS go to start> settings> control panel> administrative tools> services> scroll way down and stop the Windows Zero Configuration (appropriately named!) .. then use any wireless utility to run the wireless machines. It will keep the fixed machines from searching for a "better network" whether one exists or not. NOW on a portable device running Windows .. NOT A GOOD IDEA to shut that off .. but you can toggle it if your laptop is going to live at home for a while and then toggle it back on when you choggle on out of there!

It turns out that the Microsoft router at home was on its last legs. A Belkin replacement solved all my problems.
