The iPAQ 210 has IMHO a bug in it's WiFi driver that incorrectly identifies all channels as "858512" So if software like WiFiFoFum is important to you, you might want to wait before purchasing one of these.
This does not effect "normal" WiFi operation, by the way.

Hi David,
Nice to see you. There is a new Wi-Fi downloadable driver at the HP site.

There are in fact two drivers at this point, a 1.00 and also a 1.10 neither of which address or changes the above. :( I understand that the second, (the 1.10) is suppose to enable the driver update for all devices in the 200 series, and not just a limited number of devices like 1.00 driver was. There is also a ROM update for the 111 which also suffers from the channel problem but again it does not correct the problem.
Thanks for the kind thoughts.

I have the iPAQ 211 Enterprise and it refuses to connect with any internet sites anymore, even though it shows that I am connected to my usual WI-FI locations (Public Library and other open WI-FI sites).
I choose a WI-FI site and it will lock on to it and then shows that it has connected. Then when I take the next step and try to go to a site like Google.com it starts its search and then states that it cannot connect. It has worked fine in the past yet when I try to connect to a website that is even in my search history it does the same thing - it starts the search process and then tells me it cannont connect. Any suggestions?
