Epocrates Synchronization Problem

Epocrates is one of the leading medical software developers and their prototype Epocartes Essentials is adopted by many physicians in the US and worldwide.

Once their software is installed it will establish an ActiveSync relation that will automate updates of the software whenever the device is synced.

Recently I noticed a problem in my HTC TyTN II (Kaiser) while syncing with Epocrates. The synchronization just fails to complete.

After many attempts to correct the issue luckily I found the cause of the problem;

In HTC devices there's whats called Encryption (Start>Setting>System>Encryption) which encrypts files on memory card. If this utility is checked it will conflict with Epocrates software because the latter automatically moves database to memory card for memory optimization.

Please uncheck that encryption if you want your Epocrates to sync appropriately.
