Thank you for submitting your tip or "how-to" to Smartphone & Pocket PC magazine. We greatly appreciate your willingness to take your time and share your Pocket PC and Smartphone knowledge with your fellow users.

Please write for an intelligent reader, who, depending on your topic, may not be technologically sophisticated. We may use an edited version of your submission in our annual “The Ultimate Smartphone and Pocket PC How-to Guide” as well as in our new on-line Smartphone & Pocket PC VIP section for subscribers. Wherever we publish your offering, we will include your name, optional URL, and likely your bio.

You will use a submission form that was adapted from blogging software. The software, while slightly awkward for text entry, provides a lot of flexibility for processing and displaying your contribution. There is a help link provided which you should be sure to look through.

Once you submit your tip or how-to, the edited result becomes the property of Smartphone & Pocket PC for possible use online, in print, or in another digital or multi-media format. Your pre-edited submission remains your property. If we decide to use and edit your material, you will be contacted by E-mail and have about a week to OK it or suggest changes. IMPORTANT: We strongly recommend you create your tip or how-to in Word and then copy it into the submission form. Doing so, means that you will probably do a better job editing, and you will have a backup in case the system loses your input.
