News: Another New Windows Mobile Phone From Mio Technology: A502

In an article on msmobiles.com, author Edward J. Rutkowski discusses Mio's newest Windows Mobile device. He said in part:

"Mio Technology - a subsidiary of Mitac corporation - is back in Windows Mobile phone business for good! While their first Windows Mobile phones were Smartphones (i.e. without touch-screen) and of rather poor specifications, the current line of Mio Technology, albeit not perfect (lacks 3G) can be very appealing: small size combined with built-in GPS receiver and standard features like Wi-Fi and Bluetooth."

With the gaining popularity of Smartphones, in part due to the iPhone phenomenon, companies like Mio are now getting back in the Smartphone business.

Review: My Top Ten Games

"One of the best kept secrets about Windows Mobile devices is that they are incredible entertainment platforms. And unlike dedicated devices like the Nintendo DS or Sony PSP, they are not constrained to a single purpose. When there's work to be done, the built-in productivity applications and a host of third-party programs help you stay on top of your schedule and in keep touch with your associates. You can switch back and forth between work and play quickly and easily, all the while listening to your favorite music playing in the background."

Article: Sprint Mogul

"The Sprint Mogul was introduced around the same time as the iPhone, and because of Steve Job's marketing savvy, Apple's device got almost all of the media attention. However, I believe the Mogul deserves far more accolades than Apple's darling. I own an iPhone and think it's a great phone and media/entertainment device. Unfortunately, I don't see many professional uses for it. In fact, when this review was written in August, Apple/AT&T didn't even allow professional business users to purchase the iPhone under their business contract-they had to open a new consumer account to use it. On the other hand, the Mogul not only holds its own against the iPhone in the media/entertainment arena, it's an incredible device for any professional."
