News: Microsoft launches Windows Mobile site for salespeople

In an article on windowsfordevices.com, a new Windows Mobile Web site for salespeople in the mobile industry is discussed. The article said in part:

"Microsoft has launched a new website devoted to Windows Mobile, and targeting "anyone who sells mobile phones or works in the mobile industry." Windows Mobile Connection features background information on the operating system, mobile industry news, Microsoft press releases, and discussion forums, the company says."

This move from Microsoft is further evidence of their growing Windows Mobile initiative.

Tip: Add iPhone-like Contact scrolling to your device for free

A freeware program for touch screen devices called iContact provides iPhone-like scrolling for your Contacts. The program displays all your contacts vertically in a full screen format (except for the top task bar), and the list can be easily scrolled up or down using your finger or a stylus. A light touch on a contact name will open the normal Contact page, and if you tap OK, you will be taken back to the iContact list of contacts. iContact can be downloaded for free here.
